Experience the real Australia - and get paid doing it

Visitoz operates in the youth market assisting young visitors who have the right to work in Australia.   These include working holidaymakers, Australians and those on relevant student visas. For those already in Australia Visitoz offers a 95 day programme which starts with a 5 day introductory package. Participants are introduced to Australian agricultural techniques followed by one guaranteed job in rural and Outback Australia.   The programme was started in 1992 based on Springbrook Farm in South East Queensland.

Participants are met in Gympie on a Monday and travel to Goomeri where they are given lunch and have the opportunity to shop for such things as boot, jeans and long sleeved shirts.   They also complete a form giving an indication of the type of work they are looking for before going on to their host farms for the introductory training which includes food and accommodation.

The introductory training covers agbike and stock horse riding, working with cattle on foot and on horseback, tractor driving and operating, fencing and safety.   During that time they will receive calls from employers offering the sort of work they have requested.   On the Saturday following joining the programme all participants go to jobs of their choice.

Visitoz has built up a data base of employers in excess of 1800 from all States and Territories.    Work is only offered in rural and Outback Australia.   All jobs are paid at the “award” or better and includes food and accommodation in most cases.   For those who wish to experience outback life without facing the rigours of working with animals or machinery Visitoz can offer participants choices as homestead helpers, distance education tutors and hospitality workers, but these do not count for the second visas.
