Van-Tastic Tour of Queensland: The "Yeah Bro!" Highlights
Well all good things must come to an end....
...and so it was for the winners of the Queensland leg of World Nomad's Van-tastic tour of Australia.
Let's look back on the last 6 weeks of Hamish and Adam (and their trusty van, Geoff's) 'Tour of Oarsumeness'....
In and around Cairns:
- Rarking it up with Raging Thunder white water rafting
- Finding their inner-Tarzan through Jungle Surfing at Cape Tribulation
- Hanging with crocs, spear fishing and catching crabs (but in a good way!)
- Yarning with the bungy legend AJ Hackett then leaping off the roof
- Busting their butts with Blazing Saddles
Great Barrier Reef:
- Seawalking in space suits on the Great Barrier Reef
- "It's a chopper baby." Helicoptering out to the reef
- Beach-landing before brekkie - after skydiving from 14 000ft at Mission Beach
- 3 day diving trip including Night diving with the freaky fishies *Best highlight of the trip*
- Parachuting onto tiny piece of reef then snorkelling, diving and fishing the rest of the day in paradise
Whitsundays:
- Scuba diving then spa pooling on deck - what a bloody great combo!
Fraser Island:
- 4 wheel-driving adventure all over the island with awesome group of backapckers from all over the globe
Sunshine Coast:
- Sussing out Steve Irwin's legacy at Australia Zoo
Gold Coast:
- Wowing the ladies at White Water World and Dream World
- Joy riding (while being thankful they skipped breakfast) over Sufers Paradise in Tiger Moths
Brisbane:
- Going out with a bang partying in Brizzy.
Kia ora bros! That was some road trip.
