Queensland’s film industry will be showcased on the big screen with the national release of feature film 'Triangle' today.

'Triangle' is a psychological thriller and was filmed in Queensland in 2008. Starring Melissa George (Grey’s Anatomy) and Michael Dorman (Daybreakers), 'Triangle' was filmed at a variety of Queensland locations including Warner Roadshow Studios and the Queensland Maritime Museum.

The film is a psychological thriller about a single mother who takes time out with a group of friends on a yachting expedition only for things to go wrong after the boat is struck by mysterious weather conditions.

Empire gave the film a 4/5 stars rating, and called it a "satisfying mind-twister, with an unexpectedly poignant pay-off" film.“

Queensland has also been the location for recent productions such as World War II television drama 'The Pacific', World War I feature film 'Beneath Hill 60', and the fourth series of the popular drama 'Sea Patrol', all showing nationally.
