Mackay Tourism has two accredited Visitor Information Centres here to help travellers discover our spectacular rainforests and national parks, pristine islands and coastal beaches. Learn about our local industries of sugar, coal and beef while our city nightlife, shopping and historic townships offer you a genuine country hospitality experience. 

Pioneer Valley & Eungella National Park - Historic townships, guided trails through sub tropical rainforest, camping, fishing and museums.

Cape Hillsborough National Park - Rugged rainforest meets the ocean, Aboriginal history, guided walking trails, camping, fishing and some disable facilities. 

Mackay City - Heritage walk, Pioneer River, Artspace, Regional Botanic Gardens, markets, dining and nightlife.
