Migaloo was sighted on July 21st playing off Port Douglas, 3 nautical miles north of Snapper Island at 10.37am.

The elusive white humpback whale was heading north at 6 knots and in the company of a pod of dolphins when sighted.

In the current weather conditions, sightings of a number of humpback whales have  been made,  but to see Migaloo is one of those rare experiences for the lucky few.

The whales are regularly sighted at the ribbon reefs of the Outer Barrier Reef at this time of year.
